STEM by Design Book Discussion Guide
You can use these study questions as you read STEM by Design (Routledge, 2017) individually or in a team. Often a team study will surface more ideas, generate discussions, and drive learning deeper. In either case, spend time with those questions that will generate the most learning for you.
Grab a journal to jot down ideas and information as you read this book. If you are working with others, discuss the answers to these questions together. If working alone, you can journal your answers.

Learning that STEM wasn’t only an integration of all four subjects, but the application and process of solving real world problems is new for me. I am 100% behind teaching this way. It grasps all learning types. It also requires teamwork and dives deeper for a better understanding of the concepts in each of on those subjects. My question is, is it affordable for all schools to supply students with materials for designs and prototypes.
